THREE SIMPLE ZERO WASTE IDEAS TO IMPLEMENT AT HOME
Don’t let food go to waste – eat leftovers, compost scraps, buy only the ingredients that you need and practice cooking appropriate portions
Choose zero waste bathroom and body products such as naked bars of soap and bamboo toothbrushes and make your own skincare products
Instead of throwing away unwanted items, give them away to family and friends, repurpose them or donate them to second hand shops
“We don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly, we need millions doing it imperfectly”
THREE SIMPLE ZERO WASTE IDEAS TO IMPLEMENT WHEN SHOPPING
Take reusable shopping bags with you so that you don’t have to buy plastic ones and leave a stash in your car so that you never forget
Choose to buy items with zero packaging, minimal packaging or packaging that can be recycled. Of course, package free is always best!
Change the places you shop and opt for local farmers markets, bulk food stores and local butchers and bakeries instead of supermarkets
“Use it up, wear it out, make it do or go without”
