As a day that should be rejoiced and celebrated wholeheartedly each year, International Women's Day on March 8th is the perfect chance to support, uplift and empower women of all ages. With so many beautiful and inspiring women around us, it is the perfect chance to stop and tell one another how much we appreciate them. Women are chasing their dreams, building their businesses and spreading love and inspiration every single day. Let's take a moment to admire that!
Register for our 2021 International Women's Day Project
After receiving an overwhelming and beautiful response for this year’s International Women’s Day project, we’re opening up registrations for the 2021 project earlier than expected! Simply submit your name and email address and we’ll be in contact towards the end of the year with details on how you can submit your story and become featured in this inspiring and empowering project! Please note that if you have participated in this initiative before or have previously registered for this project, we will send you the invitation to become involved again. We’re looking forward to celebrating International Women’s Day with you in 2021…

What's involved & Opportunities
By participating in our International Women’s Day project, you will be opened up to a whole host of opportunities! Each year, we submit five media requests to relevant publications, secure niche influencers to promote the initiative, reach out to an abundance of celebrities to become involved and we submit a collaboration proposal with the official International Women’s Day organisation.
The benefits for you include receiving a set of beautifully designed gift cards to pass onto women who inspire and empower you, a detailed and full page feature inside our latest edition of 'The Empowered Journal' which will be circulated to women around the world and exposure and recognition for your achievements.

The Purpose & Mission
We've created this project with one simple mission - To collaboratively celebrate women from around the world by sharing unique and beautiful stories and to inspire and empower the women around us by circulating beautiful cards that are filled with words of love, appreciation, support and kindness.
We've created three different sets of empowering IWD gift cards with three, six and twelve gift cards in each set respectively. That means that you get to choose how many women YOU want to inspire and empower this International Women's Day! We can't wait to see who's hands they end up in!

This year, we've added a special element to our International Women's Day project - we're featuring one hundred stories from women around the world. Each and every one has an inspiring tale to tell and a beautiful piece of advice to pass onto you. From California to Kenya, these women have come together to be part of this project and to help inspire thousands of women from across the globe.

The first International Women's Day occurred in 1911, supported by over one million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not country, group or organization specific.
Gloria Steinem, world-renowned feminist, journalist and activist once explained "The story of women's struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organisation but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights."

International Women's Day is important to me as a woman because I am a survivor of sexual abuse and have been made to feel as though I wouldn't amount to much because of my past. But I refused to believe that, that was going to be true. Despite the hardships I have faced in my life I choose to wake up every day and create the life that I deserve. I have spent much of my life supporting and empowering other women to speak up and take back their power because together we are stronger. |

International Women's Day is important to me because I believe that as far as women have come along in society, we are all responsible for the future. We get a choice to set the path, and for us who are fortunate enough to have a voice, it is our responsibility to give voice to our sisters who don't. Being a woman of colour, I also know in my heart, unless we set the tone in a gentle and kind way for our daughters, they will not know their worth and the brighter futures they are destined to create. |

International Women's Day for me is a beautiful celebration of women supporting women, something that absolutely lights me up. Before I became a coach, I lived through the roller-coaster of 7 unsuccessful IVF treatments with my ex-husband, which led to an unexpected marriage break-up. Out of my own personal experience and an awareness of the lack of support in the fertility space, my passion evolved for helping other women in the same situation through my coaching to not just survive, but to thrive! |
