Tonight, grab a blanket and head outside to lay under the stars and you’ll soon discover why we were inspired to create the Galaxy Gift Card. There is so much infinite beauty in our universe, particularly amongst the stars. While you’re out there, you may even witness a small miracle – a shooting star, flaming across the nights sky… You’ll probably also discover that it’s almost impossible not to be intrigued or entranced by the Milky Way and all the mysterious sparkles that it contains. Who knows, maybe you’ll even be inspired to create your own galaxy artwork…

The story behind this unique piece of art is quite simple. We have always been fascinated by the way the sky holds so much beauty, yet is still so incredibly mysterious and unknown.
This sustainable and ethical gift card was created to represent the fascination that so many other people also hold for the galaxy. It was designed under the moonlight in Brisbane, Australia and will always serve as a reminder that mystery and beauty can go hand in hand.

Wondering how our beautiful greeting cards are created?
We take pride in the fact that all Sophia. products are sustainably and ethically designed, created, packaged and shipped and this is exactly what happened during the creation process of Galaxy Gift Cards.
Using recycled cardboard, we sat down at our workshop just shy of midnight to design this intricate gift card. It only took one night to create with our non-toxic pens and the very next day, we made a trip to our local printer (we opt to support local businesses to reduce carbon emissions and to grow the Australian economy) to have our galaxy inspired design made into gift cards.

Ethical shipping & packaging - From Sophia. to you...
Once our cards have returned from the printer, we store them in our little rainforest workshop (which is also made from recycled materials) until this very moment. Now you’ve come along, discovered the Galaxy Gift Cards (and have hopefully fallen in love with them!). After you’ve decided to place an order, we then select a gift card and matching envelope to bundle together with 100% recycled copper wire and then place them into an envelope so that they’re ready to send. From there, we utilise Sendle which is Australia’s first carbon neutral shipping company to deliver the order directly to your door.
