The inspiration behind our eco-friendly artisan homewares...
If you’ve ever been to Morocco, you’ll know that bright colours greet you on every corner and wonderful smells are constantly tantalising your tastebuds. We were inspired by the wonderful culture of Morocco to create this bright and fun filled eco-friendly plate and we hope that it inspires the wanderlust inside of you. We want this Moroccan plate to remind you of magical and enchanting places across the globe and to spark memories of the places and people you loved the most while exploring.

Our eco-friendly artisan homewares - The story behind the art...
As well as being inspired by the culture and colours of Morocco, the other reason behind creating this design is because we wanted to create an artisan homewares collection that brings people together on warm summers nights for a feast under the stars. We want you to indulge in rich foods with delicious scents and dance slowly through the night, surrounded by the people you love the most and what better way to do that than to host a Moroccan inspired gathering!
We used an array of blues, greens, pinks and yellows to represent tranquillity, harmony, nostalgia and sunshine respectively and hope that this colour palette transports you back in time to your most treasured memories and inspires you to spend more time doing the things you love.
Similarly, to the way we were entranced by the Moroccan way of life, we also wanted to showcase how achievable sustainable travel is and so have married both sustainability and adventure into this design.

Wondering how our artisan homewares are created?
Once we decided on the perfect colour palette to represent the culture of Morocco, we then used a blank paper template to draw the black outline of the mandala design. From there, we carefully coloured in each tiny component of the plate until there were no white spaces left. This Moroccan design took longer than 12 hours to design and complete and once you see the intricate details up close, you’ll be able to see the heart and soul that has be poured into each aspect of its creation.
For each of the plates in our collection, once the design has been completed, we send it off to an Australian owned company in New South Wales who transfer the hand drawn designs onto the plates.
Their factory runs entirely off solar power which mean zero carbon emissions are created during production and they also ship the finished plates to us in 100% recycled cardboard packaging. Not only that but they also donate to WWF (World Wildlife Foundation) on a regular basis.
For each of the plates in our collection, once the design has been completed, we send it off to an Australian owned company in New South Wales who transfer the hand drawn designs onto the plates.
