This special design was created to celebrate all the weird and wonderful treasures that can be found amongst nature, This gift card can be used for any occasion from birthdays to anniversaries to christenings and literally anything other occasion you can think of!
The inspiration behind our fair trade cards...
The inspiration behind our Mystery Pink gift cards are all the colourful, quirky and mysterious flora and fauna that can be found all over planet earth. So often in nature, we come across beautiful things that simply blow our mind and having our studio and workshop located on the cusp of a lush rainforest means that we’re constantly being inspired by the pretty things we find. To gain further inspiration for this design, we went foraging deep into the forest to pick wildflower blooms, colourful leaves and remnants of beautiful insects. Our fair trade cards - The story behind the art...
Every part of the eco-system is essential to the survival of each species of flora and fauna, and because of this delicate balance, each aspect of nature becomes incredibly special and ever so delicate. However, we wanted to create a beautiful piece of art that represents the even more intriguing pieces of nature that are often overlooked. All the endangered species that are currently under threat, the plants that provide us with vital medicinal properties and of course the diverse range of flora that create essential oxygen and food. Wondering how our fair trade cards are created?
Early one morning, we ventured into the forest which is situated beside our workshop to find inspiration amongst the trees. We found tiny pink wildflowers, blush coloured leaves from the early growth of lilli pilli trees and tiny specimens of butterfly wings. We then wandered back to the workshop with our discovered treasures and displayed them on the work bench before setting to work to create the Mystery Pink design.
We used non-toxic pens to draw the design onto 100% recycled and once the design was complete, we sent it to our local printer in Brisbane to be transformed into cards. We only print small batches of each design so that we’re not creating excess and to ensure that each gift card is completely flawless. After picking the cards up from the printers, we then hand fold each one and ensure that there are no misprints or damaged cards in the mix.

Ethical shipping & packaging - From Sophia. to you...
It’s important that packaging and shipping isn’t overlooked in the process of sustainability and ethicality and so we want to be as transparent as possible about the way your order is put together and how it travels from the Sophia. workshop in Brisbane to your home (wherever you may be). To ensure this, we first use a strand of 100% recycled copper wire to tie a sparkling bow around your Mystery Pink Gift Card and matching white envelope. We’ll then place your order inside a larger envelope which is also made from recycled materials before labelling it and preparing it for shipping.
We use Sendle to deliver our parcels from A to B because they guarantee carbon neutral shipping for all deliveries. This ensures that we’re having minimal impact on the planet at each step of the process and because shipping is usually the biggest culprit for carbon emissions, we’re so thrilled that we can bypass this negative impact.
