We created the Bohemian Plates for all the fun-loving people out there and we know that this piece of art is going to look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G in the centre on your dining table. If you're looking for a way to brighten up your kitchen or make your interior design pop, this is it!!!
The inspiration behind our colourful party plates...
For these Bohemian Plates, we were inspired by the many wild and free spirited people on our earth who hold high regard for creativity and eccentric art. We wanted to represent the 7.53 billion people in our world in a way that brings curiosity and inclusiveness. Each one of us are so completely unique, we all have a different and incredible story to share and in one way or another, we are all connected.
The design for this mandala plate merges a myriad of colours together to represent that connectedness and to show that the world is such a wonderful place with each of those individual pieces of the puzzle. It is important to us that ethicality and equality are at the forefront of what we do and as you cast your eyes across the bright and intricate Bohemian design, we hope that you’re able to see this represented in our artwork.

Our colourful party plates - The story behind the art...
The beginning of the Bohemian Plate came about because we realised that there was a lack of colourful, bright and meaningful homeware pieces in the industry. We wanted to create a piece that was going to push the boundaries of modern homeware designs and to produce something that could fill anyone’s home with a pop of colour and a reminder of happiness.
While most would call this particular design “eccentric” we believe that it can be used in a multitude of different situations and can guarantee that it will add a bit of fun to your dining table, feast and kitchen. The mixture of different shades of red, blue, yellow, pink, green, orange, purple represent many emotions and traits in the same way that they represent the different personalities and features of the 7.53 billion people on this earth.
At a closer glance, this mandala design showcases passion, ambition, optimism, intellect, balance, growth, trust, peace, intuition, unconditional love and harmony through the colours that are used and we believe that this wraps up all the beautiful traits of people across the globe.

Wondering how our colourful party plates are created?
Like all of our mandala designs, this Bohemian plate started with a single dot in the middle of the page and an idea to transform a story into an artistic masterpiece. With each individual shape and colour used, a little bit more of the story is entwined into the design. We created this design using a large paper template and constructed the black outline of the pattern by hand.
From there, the spaces were filled in with an array of colour using non-toxic pens and we sent the design off to our sustainable and ethical manufacturer in Penrith, Australia where they transfer the designs onto quality and sturdy plates using nothing but solar power! They also use 100% recycled packaging to send our plates to us and we’re able to use the boxes over and over again to reduce waste and live up to the motto – reduce, reuse and recycle. While these plates are made of melamine, we’ve weighed up their impact and the fact that they’re unbreakable and fade resistant means that they’ll last a lifetime, therefore becoming sustainable in their ability to perform their duty time and time again without waste.
