The inspiration behind our stylish homewares...
For this entrancing design, we were inspired by dark midnight skies sprinkled with shimmering stars and an infinite and mind blowing vastness that holds so much beauty but is still so incredibly unknown – our universe. We hope that this piece of our sustainable homewares collection reminds you of warm summer evenings in the middle of nowhere, gazing up at the stars in wonder.
If you take a closer look at this intricately designed plate, you’ll notice all the beautiful details that represent our solar system and all the mysterious wonders in our galaxy. The purpose of this black and white creation is to bring a little piece of the entrancing night sky into your home and to bring your feasts to life with a bold and artistic statement.

Our stylish homewares - The story behind the art...
The colour palette for our Galaxy Plate was actually chosen by popular demand by our beautiful and eco conscious customers. While our signature plates have always been created with the brightest splashes of colour, we decided to create this design as a contrasting option and in a way that we knew our customers would love. Each Galaxy Plate is inspired by the shining stars, stellar remnants, interstellar dust and mysterious blackness which make up our Milky Way and in a fitting way, the word galaxy is actually derived from the Greek word “galaxias” which literally means “milky”. Upon peering closely at this handcrafted design, you might even be able to see the shape of a few planets woven into the pattern.
Wondering how our stylish homewares are created?
This intricate black and white design was created on a paper template and took more than 12 hours to hand draw. Once the galaxy inspired design was complete, we then sent it off to our Australian owned and based manufacturer who to turn our design into beautiful and durable plates.
Their office and factory is based in New South Wales and runs entirely off solar power so each homewares piece has been created entirely carbon neutral. On top of this, they also use recycle packaging to ship the plates back to us and frequently donate to WWF (World Wildlife Foundation)

Our selection of mandala plates have all been carefully hand designed in Brisbane, Australia with each plate taking more than 12 hours to draw! The collection started out with the Aztec Plate but has quickly grown into a beautiful array of colourful and intricate designs.
As part of our commitment to sustainable business practices, each of these plates has been crafted using nothing but solar power which means no emissions were created in the manufacturing process. These plates are designed to last a lifetime, are virtually unbreakable and are a great addition to any occasion.
On top of our commitment to sustainable products, we also remove 100 pieces of rubbish from the environment on your behalf, for every order placed and plant one native tree to help reforest areas for Australian wildlife for every shipment of products.
