When we originally designed our medium copper plates, they were an instant crowd pleaser and they still are! Our customers love to use them as a unique way to display cupcakes and fruit or just use them as an eye catching decoration throughout different rooms of their homes
The inspiration behind our luxury tableware...
The inspiration behind these medium copper plates comes from the old fashioned tradition of having high tea. We’ve taken that 1800’s idea and put our own modern twist on it! High tea is traditionally an array of different finger foods such as sandwiches, freshly baked scones, lamingtons and fresh fruit stacked upon ceramic tiered plates. We were inspired by the way high tea brings together a selection of delicacies but wanted to showcase each recipe in a unique and intriguing way.
This is where our copper plates come in to play.. each one can be piled high with delicious treats and be laid out onto your feast table in a creative and colourful way. We also love the idea of picking fresh flowers and greenery from your garden and sitting your sustainable and handcrafted copper plates upon a bed of luscious flora. Although these plates were designed for a high tea, there’s also a million and one other different ways they can be put to use and we’d love to hear which ideas you have to share.

Luxury tableware - The story behind the art...
Anna Maria Russell who was the Duchess of Bedford and a lifelong friend of Queen Victoria was the woman who invented high tea and so she also plays a part in how our medium copper plates came about. Who knew that something that was created centuries ago could now become such a popular and luxurious way of celebrating! You can also experiment with our copper plates and create tiers by placing sturdy bowls under each layer to raise them higher and create depth within your feasting table. Much like our large copper plates, the saying of “waste not, want not” also comes into play with each piece being crafted with 100% recycled materials, made to order and built to last generations.
Wondering how our luxury tableware is created?
The process for creating our medium copper plates is a very tedious and time consuming one but we believe that the finished outcome is worth all the hard work. Each and every one of our copper plates has been lovingly handcrafted with 100% recycled materials and has been woven together with the utmost precision. The unique design provides a solid and sturdy end product and is a boutique product unlike any you’ve ever seen before. Because we use recycled copper wire for our plates, each piece needs to be carefully stripped and untwisted before it can be transformed into a new and useable product.

Each of our copper homewares pieces are made to order so once you’ve found one you like and purchased online, we’ll get to work creating a unique copper plate just for you. We prep the 100% recycled copper wire ahead of time so that it’s ready to go, and pride ourselves on creating and designing products that are made efficiently so that you can be holding them in your hot little hands in no time. Once your boutique copper plate has been handcrafted, we’ll carefully package it into a box made from recycled cardboard and will ship it to your door, entirely carbon neutral thanks to Sendle (Australia's first and only carbon neutral courier)

About the Collection - Luxury Tableware
Our specialty is handcrafted homewares with a sustainable twist and our copper homewares collection aligns perfectly with our mission to reduce waste and provide beautiful products.
Each copper bowl and plate has been created with 100% recycled copper wire and it takes up to 30 hours for one piece to be completed. It's a long process from the stripping of the wire, the untwisting, the re-twisting and then the weaving into the beautiful finished product but we believe that quality homewares come from hard work, attention to detail and quality control.
