Using a notebook or journal to create a scrapbook is such a brilliant way to capture memories, beautiful inspiration and unique ideas. Use these suggestions to create a stunning scrapbook with a sustainable twist...

Gather your old magazines or buy a few for a dollar at a second hand shop and carefully cut out beautiful images or drawings that you love before gluing them in a creative way across the page

Collect a selection of colourful flowers from your garden or around your neighbourhood and press them between two sheets of recycled paper and a stack of heavy books. After a few days, remove the books and use the pressed flowers to decorate the pages of your journal or notebook

Use cuttings from old newspapers such as blocks of text or large letters to create a unique background or beautiful and bold heading. The letters look best when cut out individually and arranged across the page
